About Us

Your Credit Union

Our Goals

Guardians Credit Union is a full service financial institution headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida with convenient full service locations throughout Palm Beach County. We have been exceeding our members' expectations since 1953.

Guardians Credit Union was organized in 1953 to serve our members' financial needs. As a credit union, we operate as a not-for-profit financial cooperative that encourages thrift by providing loans at fair and reasonable rates, paying competitive dividends on savings products and implementing fewer service fees for overall account maintenance. Instead of being run by stockholders, we are owned and operated by our members. Each member owns an equal share regardless of his or her account balance. The Board of Directors and other volunteer committees are chosen and staffed by our members. Our goal is simple—not just to meet, but to exceed our members' expectations in servicing all their financial needs.

Our Brand Promise

Heroes walk among us every day.
They protect our streets, guide our children, or even simply give us a ride home.

They are the people who enhance our daily lives sometimes unintentionally with a random act of kindness.

At our credit union, we celebrate "everyday heroes."

We were originally founded by the very people who keep our community running safely — city and county workers.

Even now that we've expanded our membership to more regions, our core values reflect the same desire to keep your life running smoothly.

-Guardians Credit Union. We are on duty for you.

Meet Our Board

Official Family Nominations

There will be one board position up for re-election during the 2025 Annual Meeting. The nominating committee reports that the one current board member in this position, Brendan Lynch, is seeking re-election. Members interested in serving on the Board of Directors must submit a letter of interest to the nominating committee. If the nominating committee doesn't nominate the member, it would be the responsibility of the member to obtain a petition with the signatures of 1% of the credit union membership (369 members) as reported on June 30, 2024. The petition should include the candidate's name, member's name/signature and purpose of the petition. The petition must be presented to the President of the credit union by November 30, 2024.
